If you didn't know, San Francisco elected a psycho liberal District Attorney(Chesa Boudin) who refuses to prosecute felonies because he believes that crimes are victimless and that the perpetrators are the real victims of the system.
Well the numbers are in, and even liberals are shocked at how little he is punishing criminals!
Since taking office Jan. 1, 2020 through March 1, 2021, Boudin has tried just 23 cases resulting in 16 convictions....In 2019 during the same timeframe, Boudin’s predecessor, George Gascon(who is also a real pos, works for Los Angeles now and was sued recently for not prosecuting enough crimes), tried 294 cases and got 203 convictions.
In 2020, SF Police Department presented 6,333 felonies to Boudin’s office. Contrast that with neighboring Alameda County, where 6,331 felony cases were presented, resulting in 1,413 convictions. Alameda dismissed only 11.4 percent of cases, while San Francisco’s dismissal rate was 40 percent.
That's right folks, San Francisco's District Attorney was presented with 6,333 Felonies in 2020 and only tried 23 of them!
We also know that police departments already filter out what they think is convictable before presenting the cases as felonies to the district attorney, so this is even more egarious!
Democrats are truly mentally-ill.

It's a bizarre system, in normal countries the equivalent of DA isn't elected, they just have a department that prosecutes crimes and that's their job.
But yeah its crazy to just ignore 99% of serious crimes, what are they doing, just sitting around jacking off all day?"A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand."

I'm not surprised that some businesses are leaving San Fran due to high levels of stealing and shopping lifting, now that most stealing isn't prosecuted. Along these lines ~

This chit went on back in the 70's and 80's. Eventually the people got fed up.
Most humans are still by nature animals, not robots. All it will take is that one spark.

I worked for the prison system for ten years and believe that we had a totally stupid and harmful prison system.
It's based on the illogical conservative idea that people who make mistakes get nothing. Another idea is that there are no problems, misunderstandings, and everyone knows everything and can make the right choices. So, we do nothing to fix these people.
The DA is this case is refusing to send people to jail, and I get it. But, he's also refusing to help and fix the issues that cause people to commit felonies.
It's more signs of the US falling apart.
So people want to fix things, they don't know how to do it, so they're creating problems ignoring things that need to be fixed. The conservative types that want things safe refuse to acknowledge that things need to be fixed.
That's just chaos. If you want to ask me a question:

America should bring back the old forms of corporal punishment it used to use. It seems to be working in Singapore.

So, not one person can make a law, we have an entire legislative process to make laws. Yes, judges can interpret, but that's about as far as one single person can go. A DA simply has a law degree, and isn't really much of anyone, but yet that one lawyer in the position can decide what laws we can and cannot enforce. What's even the point of having any laws? They are somewhat borderline dictators. Passive dictators, where they decide what rules are to be followed and which aren't.

"mistakes"
how hard is it to not steal/rob/assault/murder/rape people? it boils down to criminals dont care. even a low iq 8 year old knows whats right and whats wrong. throwing more money at it wont fix it. maybe we should start hanging mfkers or exile them to some country like el salvadore, just pull them out of the community. being tough on crime is an absolute requirement for a 1st world country, let these animals walk the streets and you will have a chithole of piss.
