I found Will Tennyson on YouTube who has an interesting looking program.
It's a 4 day split consisting of two days of legs/shoulders/tris and two days of chest/back/bi's.
He has a video on it and it's as folows:
Day 1:
Bench
Neutral grip pull up
Incline db press
Pendlays
DB preacher Curls (optional accessory depending on energy)
Day 2:
Squat
Mil press
RDL
Lat raises
Face pulls
Day 3:
Incline bench
Lat pull down
Floor press
T bar row
Wide grip cable row
Hammer Curls (optional accessory)
Day 4:
Mil press
Hex bar dead lift
One arm db shoulder press
Walking lunges
Leaning Lat raises
Overhead tricep extension
Progression/rep ranges is:
Week 1: 4x10
Week 2: 4x8 (5kg increase)
Week 3: 5x5 (5kg increase)
Week 4: repeat week 1 with 2.5 to 5kg increase compared to week 1
I like the look of it, each muscle group hit twice a week, good progression, mixture of high rep and low rep etc. It is clearly working for will!
I reckon I'll run it for a couple weeks and see how I get on..
What do you guys think?

I get that, he's new to social media, I just stumbled a cross his channel and liked the look of the program.
Got to remember, there was a time when no one knew who Arnie was and his program obviously worked.
(edit: before I get flamed. I am in no way suggesting this guy is going to be the next Arnie. I'm just saying that not knowing his name doesn't make him useless)

It's a lot less crap than I was expecting.
It has some periodidation, it's not obscene junk volume. It's already ahead of 90% of rate my split threads. If a litte light on leggys, but it's not a leg skipper setup so, yeah.
I don't buy the concerns about 4days of pressing causing injuries, that just isn't supported by medical data, rehab specialists or experience..bad Acute/chronic workload management is the real issue and this isn't excessive in any real way.
My only comment on the pressing is I'd switch one of the ohps for a variation. Standing, seated, dB, machine ect. As it will improve motor learning, strengthen different grooves and not over use the motor pattern.
Im just not sold on everything being the same rep ranges, 5x5 rear delt flies is just bad. I'd do the single joint stuff in higher ranges. Maybe 15-12-10..
Run it. See how it goes and RECORD YOU TRAINING to look back at and assess how well it worked.Last edited by MyEgoProblem; 09-07-2020 at 06:30 AM.

I literally made an account just to say what a terrible reply this is. You clearly took 1 look at his content and made some dumb judgement. Willโs content (while still staying in the fitness category), is about as far as you could get from the regular boring Gymshark boys. Not to say thatโs too hard since you really just need a personality to be better than any of the young, generic โbodybuildersโ Gymshark has. But yeah, stupid reply

Oh God. I don't know if I can talk about this here but I looked up Will Tennyson and saw he also lifts with Tristyn Lee. We all know Tristyn is friends with Bradley Martyn and Isaiah Miranda (who just got his test level back at 21ng/dl at 21 yrs. old). I wouldn't trust anything that crew says.
