Will an hour of aerobics the day after a heavy workout screw up recovery?

I do a 30-60 minutes of low intensity cardio most days of the week. My HR never gets about 110 BMP and I feel it aids recovery. It also allows me to take in a few more calories each day which I feel is beneficial, whether I'm cutting, bulking or maintaining. I can't stress the LOW intensity enough though; pushing it too hard for too long will certainly be detrimental to training.
It's feast or famine when it comes to cardio and strength training for me. Low, low intensity or HIIT sessions; nothing in between."The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you’re a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds." -Henry Rollins
