I know it's silly, but it'd be nice to have an extra day off. Work 5 days, have 3 days off.

Nearly every single job industry. Less I do a career switch to nursing, fireman, or police, my tour is over. I'm fine with working 5 days, would just be nice to have an extra day off.Originally Posted by wave_length

Would probably work 48 hours for the same money as 40 hours if I could do it as four 12s and have 3 days off every week.
I am salaried and "make my own hours" but there is still a reasonable expectation to be available during the normal business operation.Smooth Seas don't make Strong Sailors. Keep your head up.

I just got off a Monday-Thursday rotation for work. Didn't want to work Fridays and they didn't want me in the office. As long as I got my work done I'd be off Friday. Easily the most productive I've ever been.

I've always thought it should just be 4 on and 3 off. Still working more days than you have off.
