They were over as ****. They were fun to watch. They were very good on the mic. Any time they show up in the indy scene, they are talked about. Whether you like them or not, they definitely have a market that is over. If Cass can get his **** together, they can be big again.

I had skipped out on WWE, really watching any wrestling whatsoever, during this guy and his buddy Big Cass' entire run. I'd heard he was 'special', I did one of my annual attempts to watch some WWE show (this always goes badly). I tune in, it's some tagteam segment. All these goofy tag teams in the ring with each other, giving long-winded boring promos. Some of them like the New Day trying to be funny (and failing). Then Amore and Big Cass come to the ring and they're acting goofy and just rapid fire dropping obvious 'Catch Phrases' non-organically and it bothered the hell out of me that he was acting particularly goofy and bugeyed, silly and 180 degree the opposite direction anyone would actually act if they were about to get into a fight.
I then nope'd out of WWE for another year.
I do think I caught a bad moment, I saw some stuff later with him carrying around their cruiser title and he really did seem to have a lot of charisma.
Not sure why someone would seem to gloat that he's seemingly not doing well, who knows what kind of person he is. I wouldn't wish that. Hope he uses this to get better, shore up his ringwork (which is said to be not great) and maybe get re-signed with WWE or AEW, if not a smaller company like NWA or Impact. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.
