He was only 5'8 and half and weighed 167 pounds but dude was so lean, great genetics. He was digging ditches and doing manual labor since he was like 11 years old so he has that laborer genetics.
Apparently he didn't lift weights, he used to box and wrestle in the military, and he mainly did pull ups, dips, push ups, squats, calisthenics a lot of grip training and he would hang a towel on a pull up bar and lift his body like that and would squeeze a tennis ball during line read rehearsals. Also he ate a very lean diet like low carbs and high fats with lots of proteins.
The black and white photo is him in his 30s, the color one is him at 53 years old
Here he is in his 60s
Bronson was natty and his body was more impressive than Sly Stallone in Rambo 3, Stallone was on all types of gear too and Bronson as a natty was more impressive

He did a movie with Elvis and between scenes Elvis and his buddies would pass the time breaking boards with various strikes. They asked Charles if he wanted to join in and Charles was unable to break any boards. He always resented Elvis after that thinking they were trying to make him look bad. Everyone was super nice to him after that in an effort to show him they were just trying to get the shy actor to come out of his shell.

I like who your enjoy learning about classic movies and stuff, it's a favorite topic of mine for a long time.
Also, that was a great Bronson story.
It's a typical type of story from when I was a kid growing up around a lot of Eastern European people. Sometimes families are very stoic and zero fun. So, if you do something nice for someone they are your friend for life.
