You're not supposed to dine in. Cruz is a dumbass. Don't be eating in. Don't be taking the mask off. And no don't wear masks for 300 years. Wear them until enough dumbfuks get vaccinated or infected. He's such a dishonest creep.
Literally do what you can to prevent the spread. Wear a mask, distance, everything u can do as close to quarantine as possible...and take ur fuking vaccine when it is available. That's literally it. It isn't dumb. What is dumb is how lax our govt's rules were that they sent mixed signals like "it's ok to protest" or "we can have restaurants at lower capacity" etc. It's all bullchit. Avoid crowds. Avoid persistent indoor maskless contact with ppl not in your immediate circle. Avoid nonessential activities. Very simple.
It's a virus. What would you do if you knew a potentially fatal respiratory virus was spreading around? Yeah that's it. Quarantine or as close to it as possible. Wear masks or filters to avoid spread.
I literally did all these things before anything said so because it is common sense based on my understanding of virology. I just wore a mask, face shield, gloves, and avoided going out unless I had to. I wiped down my groceries with clorox/lysol wipes. I let most nonperishables sit for about a week elsewhere before bringing them in. I just did the obvious and advised my dad to do the same.
I intend to let up when the data shows > 90% or so of the population has become immune to the virus or a few weeks after I have been vaccinated against all known extant variants.
This is the rational thing to do. Everyone who does anything else is basically an idiot. These senators can use zoom, for example. They don't need to have big gatherings. They do it because they are subhuman idiots. All of these people are fuking idiots.
Also, there is nothing really wrong with wearing a mask. If it becomes a custom to wear a mask, not shake hands, etc, this can only help society from a public health perspective.Last edited by wincel; 02-27-2021 at 06:13 AM.
