The problem with these kind of admission policies is that you're always going to been seen as someone who got in not due to hard work ethic or merit but because of politics and that label and stigma will always be stuck to you. Also, if you get into Harvard, you're still going to have to take some tough classes with very bright students and inevitably you won't be able to keep up and be forced into remedial classes.

It's happening at my alma matter too. Apparently, they're more interested in diversity, looking good, virtue signalling, and acquiring social justice credits than graduating competent doctors.

This, imagine being a Black or Hispanic student going to Harvard where nobody speaks about it, but everyone just knows you are a product of affirmative action and didn't get in by their own merits. Everybody there is thinking it but wouldn't say it because it would be considered racist.
But then imagine having to compete with 120+ IQ asians for whom academics/studying was drilled into their head since pre-school over everything else. They'll probably struggle and end up having a miserable time trying to keep up anyways.
Honestly no shame in it, 95% of the population likely isn't cut out for it as it is regardless of race. It's just a part of Asian culture to excel at academics hence why you see them disproportionately dominating that sector, even with brutal affirmative action policies that work against them. Just like how black people disproportionately excel at athletics compared to other races, but we have no affirmative action for Indian people to make it to the NBA. It simply isn't apart of their culture, and genetics as well.positivity brah crew

It’s actually what started this white privilege nonsense
If you’re black at Harvard you basically have the intelligence of a good state school kid
If you’re white at Harvard you basically come from a silver spoon upbringing
So you have unremarkable people thinking they are genius while only exposure to whites are the elites of the elites. Easy to make big claims

A strong form of reparations that's been going on for decades. Not just Harvard, all colleges and universities. Ditto in much of the job market. Used to be just the cushy govt jobs where 3 people are hired for every 1 needed, but is common among companies wanting to show their wokeness. Obvious ones are across all entertainment and tech companies. Reparations have been going on for 60-70 yrs, depending on where you live.

Lmao @ the irony. Admissions officers sit around making subjective, stereotypical judgements about Asians lacking personality as a race, and then pat themselves on the back for wokeness.
I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

This isn't new. Affirmative action is racist because you are implying that blacks and hispanics are naturally dumber and need the standard to be rigged/lower for them to get in. The only argument I've seen regarding affirmative action is how blacks and hispanics tend to be poor, if you do affirmative action by class people wouldn't care as much and might be more supportive because class privilege is definitely a thing. But when you do it by race, that's literally racist....
Also....
Weird thing is that California is a state that bans affirmative action.

I have a 6 figure job and went to community college+ a state school. Studies have shown that where you go to school has minimal impact on how much you make in the future. I would rather send my kids to CC+ a state school and come out debt free then go to a 50k per year IVY league school for undergrad lmao. Guess what? Apple, Microsoft and all the big companies eliminated their degree requirement. I wonder why??
