Here we are, folks. I forget the card, last week was an odd one, I was without power and rushing my old man to the ER in snow and ice. Kind of distracted tbh, I've forgotten whatever happened. I think Page and Matt Hardy opened the show and there was another 6-man ME.
Hopefully less bullchit in my world tonight and we can all sit back and mostly enjoy a flawed, but not excruciatingly awful, wrestling product

It was just announced that The Big Show (Paul White) just signed with AEW. So he might make an appearance.
Kinda wish they would have saved this for a surprise. But I guess AEW just does some things backwards. Indy guy very few people know of—surprise debut, huge star that literally everyone watching knows: Let’s announce the signing in advance. LOL
Also, in B4 he choke slams Shaq next week.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. Lewis

AEW pisses me off with that and why I sometimes skip weeks of the show at a time. I haven't watched live TV in probably 10 years. Sometimes I don't watch the shows until a day or 2 later. Everything gets DVR'd
Those *******s post results a second after the match. I don't follow WWE on facebook I don't think but I'll be on there browsing my feed and it pops up and I just don't watch after that because I know what happens.

The real wrestling war: The 'big' news has already ensured this week's AEW Discussion Thread is well on it's way to utterly pasting ballsgamefan's discussion of raw, which is routinely does anyway without major signings like this, of course. This week it's just doing it before the show even airs.
Not really a big deal for me personally, last time Big Show was interesting to me was with Jerishow, a fun pairing which criminally was fated to have to work with the worst tag team of all time, the DX revival. Yes, the worst. Worse than TechnoTeam2000, Bushwackers, the New Day or any other utterly unwatchable, terrible, talentless or nonsensical tag team simply because no other tag team ever dominated a show so boringly often, had such constant memorably bad vignettes, were more obnoxious and dragged down any talented team around them while jobbing them out. Really, you'd have to pair a couple of the WWE women together and hand then 1/2 the show in order to compete with that level of awfulness.
Back to Big Show, he'll mean a lot more to AEW than he will in WWE. Apparently commentary? He'll probably work with Jericho again then, which is not a bad thing as they had great chemistry for some weird reason. Maybe Chris will stop screaming so much.Reminder list: Clickbait, seven11, z4v4, ceizer1985, SkinnyKappa, maverickTT1, KINGFABIAN

Yeah, the press release said he’d be a commentator for AEW Dark: Elevation but still had his “wrestlers license” and would be scouting talent.
You’d think they’d book him on the upcoming PPV to get an immediate return on their investment but I don’t know his health situation and AEW often doesn’t do simple things you’d think were obvious, so we’ll see.
But BTW- The Big Show literally main evented WrestleMania last year, so I think this is a pretty big loss for the WWE. He’s someone they could always put in a high profile match because of his size and star power.
Cadetduke - The social media is kind of a no win thing because the show is always trending, so if they don’t post stuff their fans will. I can’t really fault them for participating. My issue is just with the booking.
I was shocked when I first saw this and thought it might be fake, so just imagine if he appeared on Dynamite.
You could try muting AEW and other related terms the day of the show on Twitter, not sure about Facebook since I don’t use it. But that might be helpful to your viewing experience.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. Lewis

on the real, as a brand ambassador alone, this is a huge pick up no pun intended. people outside of wrestling know this guy. he's extremely visible. he's been on the late night/early morning talk show circuit for at least the last 15 years....probably closer to 20. it's a smart move. they didnt bring him in to win the title. he'll wrestle a few times on ppv im sure. theres no way a match vs. shaq(or some kind of tag match between them) isnt happening at some point. he's def gonna help sell this company to the mainstream which is why he was brought in.
ok cool hes gonna help call some matches on youtube every week too....but i heard the plan was for this new show to end up on cable at some point. having the big show involved doesnt hurt you in getting there imo.
tony khan once again moneymogging kennedy mcmang. this aint chit for him. he just made what it cost him to sign the big show in stock options for some other chit in the last few hours. possibly minutes.
goldberg is next srs. lesnar and punk will eventually work for aew at some point too. would be cool to see hall manage his son one day too.
it's over for wwecels
