It's called SSAA, Nvidia is just doing their usual marketing terminology to make you think they're inventing anything new
Reducing your resolution on LCD panels is a cardinal sin and that's exactly what "DLSS" does
Ironically: virtually everything invented in regards to the GPU & CPU space has been by AMD for the last 20 years*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

This isn't accurate. They are not the same thing. https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/dlss-d...uper-sampling/
And often times DLSS 2.0 looks better than native resolution. With performance gains slowing down, DLSS 2.0 is the best way to get better looking games, as gpu grunt can be used for actually producing better graphics (like ray tracing), and not just pushing high native resolutions.
Alex literally does this for a living: https://twitter.com/dachsjaeger/stat...015744?lang=en
not counting on you to watch this, but this is pretty informative

its only good for single player games.. im fine with lets say 80-90 fps on a single player while turning off shadows completely in multiplayer shooters for 144+ fps
raytracing in competitive games is an extreme disadvantage (not only because FPS cost, but they want to see whats in the shadows, not make more). thats why you have a lot of people who still say they don't care about raytracing.*** Free Thinker Crew ***

You can call it whatever you want but it's super sampling, which has been around for 20 years in games
You're right I'm not going to waste my time on "tech" articles or youtubers who have no idea what they're talking about(gamers nexus is the only youtube exception)
LCD's work off of set pixels, any time you change that preset number you reduce image quality even if you go up in resolution; saying it "improves" is a flat out lie*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

Gamer's Nexus is your standard for tech tubers who know what they're talking about? Lmaoo.
Don't get me wrong he's legit and all, but there are many others who are far more knowledgeable than him.
And you're still wrong about DLSS. You can keep telling yourself otherwise if it makes you feel better for whatever strange reason though. You can't actually claim to know what DLSS does and say it's basic super sampling.
That's...not how DLSS works lmfao.
I really think you should watch some videos that actually cover DLSS in depth.
