I heard somewhere that fish oil may increase oestrogen levels in dudes and have an adverse effect on the male reproductive system and libido. (But it is also said to have a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal system...)

I used to be big on supplements in my teenage tard days (persuaded by all the broscience). Noticed no difference besides neon alien piss due to body excreting all the bs
Just be deliberate, cautious and err on the lower side of dosages imo. Anyone somewhat educated on the field will agree on the same.
In general, supplements add no health benefits and have no life expectancy benefits. Some have been linked to hospitalisation due to side effects and even increased illnesses (even cancer).
The best "multi" comes from a diet (varied one), and not a quick fix mushed together in some chinese factory. Learn about nutrition and implement it through food

Citrulline is easily taken up by the gut, with a broad set of transporters that can remove it from the lumen in the enterocytes. This is confirmed by pharmacokinetic studies and the efficacy is so great that oral complementation with citrulline seems more efficient than complementation with arginine to provide arginine.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17693747/
L-Citrulline supplementation during endotoxemia positively influenced the intestinal microvascular perfusion compared to L-Arginine-supplemented and control endotoxemic mice. L-Citrulline supplementation increased plasma and tissue concentrations of arginine and citrulline, and restored intracellular NO production in the intestine. L-Arginine supplementation did not increase the intracellular arginine availability. In conclusion, L-Citrulline supplementation during endotoxemia and not L-Arginine reduced intestinal microcirculatory dysfunction and increased intracellular NO production, likely via increased intracellular citrulline and arginine availability.

Background: Nitric oxide (NO) is a highly reactive free radical essential for antimicrobial and tumor immunity as well as endothelial function. Arginine is a limiting factor in NO synthesis. Citrulline can be converted to arginine and might restore NO production when arginine availability is limited, while glutamine may competitively inhibit citrulline availability. We aimed to assess how these amino acids interact to generate NO using an in vitro model. Additional citrulline provided after LPS stimulation additionally improved NO production beyond that observed in cells precultured in high arginine (P < .01), and NO production became less dependent on arginine availability (R 2 = 0.78). Conclusion: Arginine availability is a limiting factor for NO production. Citrulline is a potential substitute to restore NO production when arginine availability is limited. Glutamine appears to be an important modulator that interferes with citrulline‐mediated NO production.

I actually give my cats citrulline. I put some on their fur and they lick it off. srs makes them happier.

I've taken a ton
Multi
Immuboost
Vit C
Vitamins D and K with Sea-Iodine
Zinc
Magnesium Citrate
Potassium Citrate
Cod Liver Oil
Resveratrol
Silica
Lions Mane, Cordyceps and Reishi
Pycnogenol
NAC
Garlic Allicin
Nettle Root Extract
Mucuna Pruriens Extract
Boron
Ginger Root
Greens Powder
DIM
Beta Alanine
L-Citrulline DL-Malate
MCT Oil
KSM-66 Ashwagandha
Very few did I "notice" anything. Beta Alanine being the most significant. Makes me feel amazing for a couple hours with the right dose. Too much will make you nauseous. Pycnogenol gives me a noticeable improvement with reduced inflammation. I miss it when I run out. KSM-66 Ashwagandha calms my nerves. I think it's the culprit for an overactive thyroid however. Went off and blood test was normal again. Still taking for that metabolic gains. Multi and Immuboost reduces my symptoms and duration significantly when I'm sick. Immuboost ramps up your immune system through the roof. It sends a sort of false flag which tells your body it's being attacked so your immune system kicks into overdrive. You can only take it for a week or two. Great for prevention if you're around sick people or feel you're coming on with something.
Edit: forgot Bronkaid which I started taking regularly. Great for energy, metabolism, daytime tiredness, and mental fog. As an added benefit it thins mucous and opens up the airways.Last edited by Lord_Lemon; 02-24-2021 at 04:31 AM.

I take:
multi vit
Mind lab pro (nootropic multi)
D3 (12000 UI)
Milk Thistle (had fatty liver)
Sceptics say there is no benefit. I think they're crazy. I have never felt more happy and healthy. I used to suffer from quite serious anxiety, which has now almost completely gone (thanks too mind lab pro).

DHEA can be purchased over the counter. Good for long time lifters who may have burnt out adrenal glands
Overview
Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a hormone that your body naturally produces in the adrenal gland. DHEA helps produce other hormones, including testosterone and estrogen. Natural DHEA levels peak in early adulthood and then slowly fall as you age.
A synthetic version of DHEA is available as a tablet, capsule, powder, topical cream and gel.
People use DHEA as an anti-aging therapy and to improve physical performance. DHEA is also used to treat depression and symptoms of menopause.Free Men Don't Ask

Multi
Magnesium
Fish Oil
Taurine
Resveratrol
Curcumin
Ashwaganda
Ginger
Vitamin D(been taking this for years)
Joint Pills
I plan on taking nearly all of this till i hit the grave.
Joint pills/Fish oil I notice if i have a 1/10 pain in knees,
Magnesium Glycinate and Ashwaganda i notice when trying to go to sleep, plus i can go back to sleep easier
I have Melatonin but the dose is too strong imo(5mg, but its my first time trying it out). Every dream was too vivid, crazy chit. called it quits after 4 tabs for 4 days that bottle is on my shelf. i'll likely go lower in the future
Ginger i notice after i eat i gotta use the restroom
But i don't use these in the hopes of feeling anything, I see it as investing in the body in the 20s-30s so you'll feel good in the 40s,50s and beyond."You can train as hard as you want to, but without the right fuel supporting your training and recovery, you will never see the results that you should."-Iron Man
