Since a few years I love biking to the lake and chilling there for a few hours almost every day in summer. By the end of last summer an old fat woman that also goes there about daily started talking to me when we happen to both be there.
She obviously wouldn't be my first choice for a friend and she's always recommending I eat the junk food she eats that makes her that fat and sick and is always talking about her endless list of diseases and health problems and health is something very important to me so it's not what I want to hear. It wasn't too bad last summer as she just started talking to me at the end of summer and I had more free time as I had to close part of my business due to the pandemic but I'm back at full business now.
However this year she'll be talking to me from the first time she sees me there (I'll probably start going back in a few weeks as it starts getting warmer) and I won't have as much free time as last year so I'm worried she's going to want to sit and talk with me all the time and it's my favorite spot I don't think I'm willing to go elsewhere to avoid her.
She used to just sit with me a few minutes because it was too cold and she went back in her car but I'm worried in summer she'll want to stay with me the whole time.
On the other hand it's obvious I bring more happiness to her than she bothers me so I don't mind seeing her a few minutes every now and then but I don't want to spend hours with her.

Talk to her. Don't you want to hear how she's doing?
I have made a few different 'situational/geographical' friends like you describe, and it can be really interesting to talk to random people who you would never meet in your usual circles.
One of them - my "walking buddy" is an old indian lady, and we talk about her family, culture, her story of moving to NZ and even political stuff like the partition of india (she's from Kashmir).Damn

I'm the extreme opposite of her, I eat healthy AF and don't eat cheat meals or junk food and whenever she asks what I eat she answers things like "Oh I don't like that". She's the kind of person that thinks McDonalds is health food and doesn't understand her diet is the reason she's in such an atrocious state of health. I also think she's poor so I don't think she could afford healthy/real food even if she wanted to which she doesn't.
I've known people like her that insist on pretending junk food is healthy despite having an endless list of chronic diseases and I prefer to avoid people like that.
She's obviously more interested in getting me to eat junk food (she was ALWAYS telling me "You NEED to try this or that at McDonalds") which I would never do than she is in eating healthy.

Does she remind you of anyone in your family by any chance?

You’re not going to find a better place for real discourse than you will from people who have nothing to offer you, and who you can’t offer much to...apart from the substance of your communication, of course.
I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.
