The only good espresso I have ever tried was in Vietnam. Felt like my heart was going to go out of my heart lol.
In here all espressos are too bitter and have no after taste thus prefer lattee or black coffee depending on the moodAlways pick 4 crew

I don’t drink espresso very often for that exact reason OP. I love it, but I like a longer coffee experience so I usually just stick to several cups of pour over fresh black coffee

Do a little research into Italian coffee culture. The short answer to the op is that Italians are very uptight about how and when they will drink certain types coffee, and that has spread elsewhere to some degree. I hate the taste of coffee but if I need some caffeine I choose espresso.
