typical comment from people that drive Hondas (not that there's anything wrong with that).
Especially in the supercar territory I don't think you could ever define one car as THE car to own. They are all amazing with their own personalities and quirks, why would you limit yourself to one? The joy is experiencing as many as you can.
Everyone has different tastes. but if I was forced to choose one to own forever I would go with a Porsche Turbo S Cab for the classic elegance and balance.

I just bought a VF huracan. Should be here tues. Going to sell my Gallardo Spyder. Hard to give up the spyder, but the H is such a nice car. I considered going Aventador, but H is a better fit for me. The AV is probably a better investment over a 5+ year ownership, but I never keep anything that long. The H is a car you can drive and not worry all that much about. W/ the super charger, there is not much that can touch it.
