Cruz is one of the worst possible picks the GOP can make.

I don't care what his platform is, he is a "me first" personality type, poor strategist with crappy leadership skills.

He is a lawmaker/ legislator , not an executive - And he has no credible executive experience whatsoever.

I wouldn't want to see Cruz as the candidate even if I agreed with all his policies.

He is an opportunist with a "me first" type personality that will put is own interest above the best strategy

That being said I would vote for him if he became the candidate

If Cruz was able to actually win the national election I think a majority of the conservatives on this board would vote for him in the primaries.

The general consensus is he can't.

Rubio irks a few with some things, but seems a little more electable on a national scale. Some favor his foreign policy positions of strength more compared to other candidates.

If not trump he will likely be the nominee at this point imo.

From an ideology standpoint most trump supporters probably favor either of the 2 platforms over trump minis immigration(trumps current biggest draw still)


Neither have virtually any executive leadership experience to judge their qualities from. That part is worrisome to me.
