Nah because I want to play Mass Effect, Resident Evil, and the upgraded Cyberpunk 2077. There's also a couple others I have my eye on like Outriders & Returnal.

It's just a matter of waiting at this point. If you don't have a PS5 now you aren't missing out on much besides better frame rates.


Realistically I want a PS5 Pro now that way I get 4K, 60FPS, and Ray tracing.

But who was resolution, Raytracing, DualSense, and load times?

This Christmas season will line Sony's pockets. They'll have abundance of stock by then.

Possible artificial scarcity + strong af demand.

I think the scarcity is due to COVID. They are unable to get some of the parts they need to manufacture the console.

Ps4 Games don't have RayTracing, even if they did you can't have both raytracing and 60fps. Raytracing at this stage is pointless, bring out the PS5 Pro.

Load times are great. Resolution hasn't made much a difference, Demon Souls looks better than anything on PS4 with the graphics settings on.

I agree on PS5Pro, very dissapointed Sony didn't have a stronger system or another option at launch.

But I think the upgrade is significant enough. Both Spiderman's offer Raytracing at 60fps and 1440, way better than their PS4 counterparts. I mean I wish it did 60fps 4k w/ a higher quality RT, which a PS5Pro will hopefully do but saying all you get from the PS5 right now is increases FPS is just wrong. I've enjoyed load times, DualSense support, increased fps, increased resolution, and Raytracing that I would not have been able to enjoy if I still just had my PS4Pro.

I usually dont buy consoles until 3-4 years after release. Hopefully there will be ps5s by then lol. And hopefully they get the drift issues fixed by thenq

Been working through old games and you can’t miss having a PS5 if you don’t know what you’re missing. Just finished GoW, only my 2nd platinum on ps4. Finished the main quest for Skyrim for the first time after years and years of playing it. Wife and I are doing heavy rain next cause I forgot I had it in my library and she is interested in it. Not sure what single player game to work on next when the wife isn’t around, but I’ve got like 10 that I already have and am interested in
