The underperforming is referencing the regular season, dude. I'm comparing Brady's regular season to Winston's the year before. It shouldn't be hard to recognize that.

In your defense, the defensive woes were pretty much all cus of Winston.

While Tampa Bay was 15th (343.9) in total yards per game allowed and 29th (28.1) points allowed, they came in at a whopping fifth in total defensive DVOA. Even crazier? When adjusted for the strength of the opponent, they move up to third.
