can anybody truthfully recommend a fat burner that works and won't make me die of overheating, cause me to **** my brains out my arse or become a speed weasel. Thanks

You don't need to train with weights or do any exercise if you don't want to. You can lose weight/fat by eating less than you burn in a given day, a caloric deficit to your TDEE.
Just the act of lifting weights does not mean you're going to get larger in size. That requires eating with a caloric surplus to TDEE while weight training with progressive volume and getting rest.
