Actual quote from the article though:
"I’m going to eliminate your student debt if you come from a family [making less] than $125,000 and went to a public university.” Biden also said, “I’m going to make sure everyone gets $10,000 knocked off of their student debt” in response to economic hardships caused by the pandemic."
I'm not even pro-biden, let's just be accurate

"Well rounded" is just nonsense that universities say to justify wasting more of your time (and making you fork over more money).
Students and graduates will repeat it as cope when they know deep down they were scammed into spending thousands of dollars on (non major) information they could have learned for free online.

I disagree. There are many basic subjects that a degree requires you to take. And they definitely DO make you a well rounded individual. Its not just wording.
A simple class on critical thinking and listening can do wonders to the economy. I wrote a simple thread the other day on listening skills.
But again, the problem is that schools aren't effective because students have trouble absorbing information due to stress at home or other factors.
What I do agree with you is, yes, they can learn it all free but a school environment and a degree give an employer better confidence that they are getting a higher quality employee.
I actually went the "free" route to learning. And it wasn't really free. I would say my education came at a 95% discount. My "education" only cost me $2000. And the rest consisted of my time devoted to learning.
For the general population, college is the best route to go. But as it is now, its far too expensive in general.Last edited by tunafishha; 02-18-2021 at 08:54 AM.

any "free" money is paid for by inflation. these same people will admit that wages stagnate compared to consumer costs. This would inflate costs and history shows wages wont follow. Obviously that degree didnt show them how to extrapolate. i could probably teach that concept to a dog. but dont distress, these people are your competition for dollars.

Maybe students are stressed because they need to bullchit a 15 page paper that the professor will never read for a non-major class. Or stressed because they're wasting time and money on subjects they have no interest in. brb history and culture. brb foreign language. brb race and gender studies.
Any essential skills should be covered by the end of HS. College should be extremely focused just like trade schools.

College is a fukin scam and government loans should be abolished. If you do keep colleges around they should be structured like western governors university where you spend as much or little time you need to learn the material and take the exam to pass out and continue to next class. Should take average of 6-12 months for a bachelors degree tbh

They are stressed out because they aren't learning effectively. That makes writing a 15 page paper very difficult.
I don't they are necessarily stressed out on subjects they have no interest in, rather, learning is a job and it requires extra effort. They cant comprehend and the subject may not seem interesting, therefore the motivation to learn it isn't there.
You can't overlook any of these subjects. They are all important. And they all tie in to make you "well rounded".
HS isn't enough time to learn the vast amount of information required to be competitive in the work force. That is why HS pay is different from Associates, Bachelors, Masters, Doctors.Last edited by tunafishha; 02-17-2021 at 01:48 PM.

Good
This
That’s what I did
Doing some massive debt forgiveness would do strongly disenfranchise people who are actually productive. The only way for this kind of bullchit to be “fair” would be to cut a $50,000 check to every single person in the country

I'd argue that you do. Because you may be wondering why the female to male ratio in your office is so disproportional as compared to 10 years ago. This in turn could change the way you act, and the way you program.
If you actually took a class on gender studies, you'd know.
But im not going to convince anyone any further. Its a waste of effort.Last edited by tunafishha; 02-18-2021 at 08:53 AM.

Some loan forgiveness is good, but it still doesn't tackle the problem of the exorbitant cost for colleges. Universities should be subsidized but also encouraged to be competitive so pricing is reduced. They need to eliminate stupid majors like gender studies, race studies, and art history. Out of state tuition is a major scam. Brb from Oklahoma, but drive 3 hours south to Dallas now paying 3 times the tuition of OU or OSU. That **** is retarded. I want to finish my B.S. and master's so bad, but taking on more debt is not worth it right now.

Come on man, you have to give out forgiveness a little each election to keep them coming back.
Eat in a deficit to lose weight.
Hit your protein and fat minimums to stay healthy and keep your gainz.
Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.
Use the internet to learn why you should do these things and how to do these things.
