If someone uses a VPN while posting on forums/social media, can people find out where they are really posting from?
I'm guessing the police, VPN company, and google can, but can regular site admins or internet detectives find out?
Asking for a friend...

Why doesn't everyone just use a VPN, so people never get doxxed?
At least on anonymous sites like forums. I know w/ twitter blue checkmarks it's not even relevant.
