Multivitamins

Hi people, first post on here.

I’m thinking of buying orange triad or anavite multivitamins but I just want to check if you can also take ZMAs and fish oils alongside? Or if it would be pointless buying all three if say orange triad covers the same vitamins and minerals found in the other two?

Just an FYI, had my raw data dowloaded from 23andMe to foundmyfitness(rhonda Patrick’s site) and based on my genetics found out using vitamin E is a bad idea for some (in this case me). I’d rather spend a few bucks and get your genes tested and find out what you really need.

I would be highly sceptical about genetic testing being able to tell me what supplements to take...

Or just eat properly. Researchers can't even decide if general vitamin supplementation is useful or not - never mind how you genes influence it.

Vitamin D is all I take (I believe there is actually enough research on this to recommend people take it) because I live in a country with little sunshine.

You’re in a supplement forum....eat properly is great advice to a guy asking about nutritional supplements.

Yes, it's the best advice.

For those of us with less than perfect regimes, supplements exist - SOME of which can fill in the holes.

But we don't need to give our money to charlatans claiming they can tell what you need from your genes...

It's a terrible point as SuffolkPunch pointed out.

OT is great. Anavite is great. Nutritox is great.

Unless your diet is devoid of greens, vegetables and other nutrient dense foods, a multi isn't going to do much. It's fine as a backup, but not something to sweat a ton on.

Usually within 6-8 months. And just to be clear, it's not buy one, get one free; usually but one, get one half off. Still good deal.

Fyi, they are 25% off right now; as good a time as any to buy 4-6 of them.
