Friend jealous of me after life change?

Anyone else? Dude seemed to distance himself from me the min I got serious into dieting and bodybuilding. I've called him out for stuff in the past, figure what's another confrontation gonna do? Can't control others at the end of the day. Maybe our bond had expired a while back & didn't realize until now

Maybe he doesn't want to change that and would rather hang with friends who are still down for that?

Nothing wrong with healthy competition. I need friends that can push me to be better. Unfortunately it's the other way around and I have to push myself.

Recently got into it but I dedicate my life to it now. Not competing, and he seems to have a ton of friends. I feel bad cause we've had some good times together but my gut implies that he's just trying to see what he can benefit from (at least these days) but friendships can't last if it's not mutual y'kno?

Why not,it will be hard ,sometimes even very sad, it depends only on what you are willing to do ,and whether you need such sacrifices
