Never invest in single stocks, or crypto, unless you're willing to lose what you're investing.... AKA your investment going to $0 doesn't jeopardize your financial situation. Also, never sell at a loss. Even if it takes months or years, unless the company is literally verging on dissolving.
The above is how you see people making thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions, in short flips. Otherwise it's how you see people losing their life savings, going into debt, filing bankruptcy, etc.

Normally I would call out fake. But even if it is fake, I imagine there's plenty that did EXACTLY this.
The entire narrative on wsb that the stock price would HAVE to go to infinity because of how many were shorting. So many people believed it was a certainty that it would keep increasing that I'm sure plenty put their life savings into it. Of course that ended up being bullchit and many got roasted.Best lifts:
