Also, picked up the Omega 300 for a good multi cal suppressor and really enjoy it. Very light compared to most suppressors i've compared it to which makes it perfect for this build.

I initially bought it for bolt action but with the flat cap on it I like the fit on the .300blk.
6” silencer (with the flat top in photo and 7.2" with the other provided tip) and it’s an 8” barrel.
I was so relieved with this bro. Random parts build and I was able to keep it minimal.Last edited by Griggz; 04-19-2021 at 08:01 AM.

Since I am now a battle rifle connoisseur/believer I decided to add a light to my FAL and it is now my main SHTF and HD gun.
https://ibb.co/XsQqMFG
This is undoubtedly the GOAT SHTF set up. I can also tape spare batteries to the stock.
Side note: this handheld streamlight I got on Black Friday for like $50 is bright AF srs. Just as bright as my mod light from what I can tell.
Irons sights are goat sighting system: simple, can’t break, no electronics. If you can’t shoot irons well you can’t shoot well, period.Browns/Indians/Cavs/Buckeyes

Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Indeed it is. It’s legit blinding with a fresh set of batteries. I obviously haven’t tested if it would hold up to recoil but it was quite comfortable taped on there srs. Took it off for now to research heat resistance tape. But in theory it would work and that’s what they did back in the day.
I will say the plastic hand guard never really got that hot. And cooled off pretty quick compared to aluminum AR ones.Browns/Indians/Cavs/Buckeyes

Texas can't do anything about it. People are living in tents so that they can work in this state.

Any of you lads use Gen 2 nightvision? It's gotta be just as good right? Didn't they use it in Iraq? Is Gen 3 really that much better?

We felons yet?
Any of the tomfoolery happen? Seems like they suddenly have their weekly mass shootings again to use as campaign fodder. I haven't paid enough attention. They make any progress (well... regression) with their gun laws?Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

Sorry. I was being sarcastic about that part. Evidently I suck at it.
Man, between these proposals and the potential for another summer of rio...love, if Chauvin is acquitted, they probably won't actually have to pass anything and we'll never see (affordable) chit in stock again.
Glad I recognized the times being right a few years ago and took your advice too and got what I wanted then.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

Ammo is waaaay more available now than it was say 6 months ago, at least in my area. Just needs to sit for awhile and prices will down, at least I hope.
My LGS actually had 9mm sitting on the shelf this weekend which I hadn’t seen for close to a year. It was 70 cpr but it was sitting there and not getting picked over either.
My guess is a year from now it’s semi normal.Browns/Indians/Cavs/Buckeyes

I haven't even tried looking. I went to a few places to see if I could get my hands on the new Shield (nobody had it), and I randomly check for certain things on Palmetto State's website... but before any panic/banic the chit was absolutely never in stock anyway. lol
