There are some good reviews and discussion of them on the Tube but few people seem to run them. Flannel Daddy and gunsngear for example have good reviews and discussion. But reviews mostly focus on TA44 1x16 with the ACSS reticle that is a PA exclusive where most of them have the regular circle dot. Greatest FOV of any Acog. Eye relief is reported by all users as being significantly greater than Trij lists, to the point of being able to mount it on the rail if you want.
And then there is also the TA45 1x24 which has even more eye relief (supposedly you can use it as a scout scope lol) but less FOV and can be crosshair or triangle but is not available in green.
I'm curious about a green 1.5x16. Huge FOV, long eye relief, etched reticle for astigmatism friendliness, small enough mag that bindon aiming is pretty easy, acog toughness, no electronics or batteries, bright green which is also the longest lasting tritium color by half life...and a tiny bit of magnification that can't hurt for precise or distance shooting.
As basically an electronics free RDS+ with no astigmatism limitations, it seems strong

Might have to scoop one for my KAC upper
Used my curling iron holder thing today. Was clutch, didn’t have to wait around for 30 minutes for suppressor to cool off. Only shot 60 rounds and it was still HOT AF.Last edited by criminal_manne; 03-05-2021 at 03:49 PM.

solid choice. Deleted question because it's something I was thinking of getting along ways off from now. Pretty much am covered on all bases for home defense guns now I think. But an old school gun might be cool to have.
Always said I wasn't gonna be a gun collector though...so I need to settle down and check myself.
