How many rounds would be “excessive” for you? Every situation is different and you use as many rounds as needs be to stop the threat. Some times it’s one round other times it’s 10, all have the same outcome.

You cannot charge forward at a cop swinging a weapon and not expect to got shot, tased, etc. It's the people who are running away or pull out a wallet and they think it's a gun and end up dead that make you stop and think. This doesn't fall into that category.
