Rising From The Ashes: Transformation Journey

I'm making this journal to track my progress. For the next year I am going to train and build the best physique I've ever had. Im going to become the biggest and the most aesthetic I've ever been.

Right now I weigh 238lbs. Ive been dieting already for 2.5 weeks and I weighed 247lbs in the beginning. I want to get down to anywhere from 160-170lbs and then bulk to gain size and mass and then cut again.

I'm doing a bro split routine for now and I will change it up once I plateau. The gains will come back quick due to muscle memory since I use to powerlift back in the day and then some.

    Monday - back/biceps
    Wednesday - chest/triceps/shoulders
    Friday - legs

That's how its going to be for now. Im ready to start my journey as of today and enjoy the process to progress. Im looking very forward to this!

This is how I looked at the start of my diet. No more looking and staying sloppy and being weak!

Finally back in the gym. I currently weigh 228lbs. Im cutting down to 170lbs. So, I have a long way to go. But, I can do this! I haven't been so motivated in years. The owner of the gym is holding me accountable to staying consistent and dedicated, to show up 6 days a week and training and doing cardio; to push myself as hard as I can and train with everything I got day by day, week by week, and month by month. I won't let him down and most importantly I'm not letting myself down. Its time to go back to that place that I'm so passionate about and stay there; training and the gym. No more excuses! LETS FUKING GO!!

Trained back today. This is how it went...

    Dumbell rows - 50x3x10
    Chest supported T-bar rows - 35x3x8
Close grip cable rows - 90x3x8
    Shrugs - 90x2x20,15

Today I trained biceps. Had a great session and the pump was insane! I actually felt some pain in my biceps and forearms from the pump I got. I guess I'm doing something right lol.

This is how today's session went...

    Barbell curls - 50x3x10
    Dumbbell curls - 25x3x10
    Reverse grip curls - 30x3x15
    Preacher curls - 25x3x8

The muscle memory should be kicking in soon, if not already. Im going to be a fuking monster within the next year people! I'm keeping my head down and training hard. I have a lot of work to do. But, the process... the journey is what matters way more than the end result. Ive only just started to change myself and change my life into a life that is fulfilling and worth living. Ill always stay on the grind bo matter what. Whatever adversity comes my way I will get through it and not let it consume me. If it wasn't for the gym being back in my life idk if I'd still be here. Training to me is my anchor and my therapy. Its my foundation that I can build upon as time goes by and me working hard for what I want out of life and who I want to truly be. LETS GO!!

Thanks for replying in this log and thank you for the encouragement! It means a lot to me that im gaining some recognition on here and in the gym.

My diet is decent. Tbh I was fuking up for a few days and I went from 224-232lbs and I weighed myself 3 days ago at that weight. I hopped back on my diet yesterday. No more fuking up! I'll be grinding my ass off and getting back to work! Tbh I feel like the fact that I was fuking my diet up and sabotaging myself was in a way a blessing in disguise; basically telling me that I NEED to keep on my diet and walk down a straight and narrow path towards success.

Hit back today. Hit a couple PRs and got a good pump. I've been a bit inconsistent. But, now I should have some form of consistency.

    Here's how today's session went...

    Cable rows - 110x3x10
Hammer strength low rows - 120x3x10
    140x10
    Chest supported T-bar rows - 45x3x8
    Shrugs - 120x3x15

I find logging my diet (either in journal or online) is really beneficial to keep me honest. I don't track macros (just too much of an annoyance and I am not trying to get super lean at the moment) but I do like to track my food quality and consistency.
