Any AF aircraft POTUS is on gets the callsign AirForce1. Any marine aircraft POTUS is on gets the callsign Marine 1.

When one of the VC25s, the plane you falsely claim is always called AirForce1, flew Obama to California after his presidency ended its callsign was not AirForce1. It was SAM44. Special Air Mission 44

More often that not flight tracking services hide/disguise the call signs of military and VIP transport. AFAIK, AF1 has the abilty to identify itself as something other than the VC25 for security reasons.

Regarding the runway length argument, length alone is not the determining factor of whether an airplane can use it. For a heavy transport aircraft like the 747 (actually for all aircraft) we take into account runway conditions such as wet/dry/snow/ice and braking action as reported by other landing aircraft, and weather such as wind, temp, air pressure. There's a lot more to it than just runway length. The landing weight of the aircraft can make a runway usable for one landing but not the next if the aircraft weight is higher on the next landing. A runway may have a published length of 5000 feet but, more importantly, it has a published LDA (landing distance available) which can be shorter than the actual runway length. This is what pilots use when determining if the runway can be used for landing, along with the other criteria I mentioned.

But, Biden was at the church on that day and living less than an hour from Delaware myself, it was snowing Sunday morning so the pics make sense. And as far as AF1, everyone thinking there is a conspiracy is retarded. As Plano pointed out, there are several factors when picking a plane for a runway. We have had multiple winter storms this last week, that could easily explain why a smaller plane was used and yes, any plane the President travels on is AF1.

Have you ever read if AF1 has some sort of STOL capability? I thought I read that but I couldn't imagine what you'd do with a 747 to achieve that. It may have just been talking about how their takeoff protocol is pretty much full blast and max climb.
