    Did I reach plateau?

    Hi everyone, after over a year without exercising, due to covid, I started back 8 weeks ago.
    Below some progresses in metrics and the pictures before and after.
    With some disappointment, this week I gained 0.5kg. What do you think? Did I reach plateau?

    I have a PT following me and he is pushing me to jump to 2000 CAL but I am afraid if I do so, I'll just gain weight.
    I want an external opinion. Objective is to get rid of the belly completely before starting a new bulk phase in April.

    Collo = Neck
    Petto = Chest
    Pancia = Belly
    Fianchi = Hips
    BF = This is just a formula I took from internet, definitively I am not 15%

    I train Monday/Saturday
    Morning 10 minutes HIIT. Evening 45 minutes BB.

    You are around 15%, why do you think you're not?
    All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.

    Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.

    I'd go up. You are quickly putting the muscle back on after the year off. I wouldn't continue in too much of a deficit. I'm assuming 2K calories is still putting you in a 250-350 deficit?

    Hard to say. Yes technically I am stable at 2300 but I really want to get rid of the abdomen fat. That’s my concern

    One week means nothing honestly... give it another week and make sure you’re actually tracking body weight using moving averages not single days spaced a week apart

    Hormones, stress, sodium intake, carbs intake Etc. can all (temporarily) effect weight loss.

    A week could also just be depleted fat cells holding onto water.

    2-3 weeks is a plateau.

    Half a kilo over a week is nothing to stress about. Realistically, nothing in your body is going to be completely linear--like others have said, give it at least another week or two.

    Props for being so structured with everything, btw. Impressive progress for sure

    I have to say I have a very good personal trainer, btw I’ll take it easy and don’t freak around the weight for a couple of weeks
