Nebula is probably the best of the best. Probably one of the best leg presses you can get. There’s not very many deals on equipment like there use to be from my experience. I’d pay it for it. It’s not a killer deal but stuff like that is getting hard to find.

Thanks it does look nice. Is there a difference between 35 and 45 degree angle. Is one better than the other?

As I mentioned in my PM it's a lot for a leg press, but that's likely because the seller knows it's a rare piece (famed for Ronnie Coleman's record leg press) and he'll get asking or close to it.

35 is going to require more weights for the same felt weight vs a 45. It's like a 57% vs 70% weight ratio, assuming things like the carriage/bearings are equal. Not necessarily good or bad if you have the weights/space.

You're not going to see this piece often, possibly never again for a very long time if ever even. Personally, i'd be willing to overpay or pay an amount knowing i'm not getting the best deal. That'd be ok for me b/c i know i'd be getting one of the best leg presses ever and i also know this piece doesn't come around often. I'd go for it and not lose any sleep about the price if it won't break the wallet.

BTW...i wish people would stop adding in lame music in these videos. It's one thing if it's an original video (although it's still bad) but absolutely unnecessary in Ronnie's vid which already had background music from the gym and enough audio as it is. On top of that, this edited, generic, cliche, over-the-top dog****...terrible trend in youtube vids now.

I wasn't directing toward you in any way. Just have to wonder what the people who put together these videos are thinking. The music in that gym and the chatter in the gym are more than enough for the viewer and oh...ya know...the fact there is literally over a ton of weight on the leg press create more than enough suspense. Maybe I'm being too harsh.

Yes I realize it is a lot and did get it as the leg press was the only thing that made my home workouts lack what I had in the gym. The price did include installation and delivery so that did help. Given it is both for me and my kids, it will get good use and in the long run the price should not be a huge factor. Very nice machine so far. Supposedly according to the guy who sold it to me it is easier on the knees long run as well but I am not sure on this.

Many of the auctions these days reach ridiculous prices that well exceed what you can get these items for on the used market. I watch them weekly, but haven't purchased in awhile. A couple days ago a Life Fitness leg curl out of a commercial gym went for $2,300 + 6% tax + 15% buyer's premium. $2,800 is double what the dealers charge and more than triple what you can get one for used from an independent seller. I really don't know who the F is paying these prices.

This is a fricking great pickup. Not cheap but it's best of the best (or equal to any at that level) and in great condition. Buy once and be done forever. Wish I had the space for one - if I did it would be my old favorite Bodymasters or the Nebula.
