Are we about to go through another car design slump a la early 2000's with the bubble car obsession. It seems that since 2010 cars have been getting better and better looking but a bunch of vehicles I'm seeing that are coming out in the next couple years look atrocious.
Just a few examples so far (there are many more)
Jaguar F-Type
BMW M4 (and pretty much the whole line up)
F-150 (looks like an even uglier Silverado)
Maybe I'm just out of touch?

Another Car Design Slump?

One thing I hate about newer cars is everyone is selling big wheels and low profile tires. Almost every recent model car I've sat in rides super rough and gives me motion sickness.
The plastic in most new cars also feels cheap as phuk. Makes sense from a manufacturers standpoint though. It doesn't cost them much more to add on a wheel that's 2" bigger but they can charge the buyer an extra 2 or 3 grand for the premium option.

I hate the move towards touchscreens, especially ones lacking tactile feedback. I also hate the currently popular trend of glossy piano black trim in the interiors, they are fingerprint magnets and looks like crap 99% of the time with fingerprints and dust particles on them. Bring back matte plastics.

This, especially in the luxury segment. I've always preferred the matte black with aluminum mix or using real wood. I know the wood usually shows fingerprints as well but it is 1000x less noticeable.
The thing I'm considering is maybe I'm just getting older so my tastes are less likely to change with the times, but I also know there are just some looks that are classic and timeless.*Updated* If you can't hit a 320 yard drive, are you even a man?

This is probably one of my #1 triggers for vehicles, especially luxury, high end cars. It's literally an afterthought, like someone designed these cars and forgot about the head unit and just decided "oh woops lets just stick a tablet here durrrrrrr". I just picked up a M8 GC Comp and I love the car to death but the FUKKIN IPAD in the dash is cheap as ****.

Shoot just be glad sport coupes still exist. They are a dying breed.
But I'll play, I hate just about every Lexus front grill, WHY ARE THEY SO HUGE.
M4 I don't hate, but I def don't like. It's like they squared off the front end of a Alfa Romea; they went completely left field.
