    For the most part "women's" supplements are marketing gimmicks. In terms of protein, preworkouts, and etc. they are for men or women regardless of claims. Some multis vary a little with things like folic acid content.
    Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

    This. Somethings may have dosage differences based on size or tolerance, but otherwise, marketing is powerful.

    I know what really pushed me forward in the gym were RTD energy drinks.
    They are not at all necessary, but it would help if we knew a bit more about you?
    As supplements are meant to assist what you are missing with your diet (i.e, fish oil if you aren't consuming enough of it from food).
