What's up guys, since I started out on these forums 7-8 years ago, thought I'd share my transformation video here as I've just started my YT
Bodybuilding has really changed my life, I discovered this sport while at uni in 2013 (I have a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering). Fast forward now, 2 years ago I quit engineering and turned to nutrition & PT to pursue my passion in the fitness industry
Obviously I'm happy to answer questions, very open about everything. But from experience, respect the rules or my thread will get locked by the mods lol so anything nutrition, training, bb.com approved supplementation, goal setting etc - go ahead
Want to provide some motivation and knowledge back as these forums really helped me get started when I was new and provide the lols

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I'll answer it like this: I was coming from a national level swimmer background, which I quit around 17 and was looking for something to really get emerged into. I realised early on what I wanted to do in this sport so just got really serious with everything early on, I got a coach at start of 2015 and learnt a LOT from him
Cheers man, appreciate that. I've been with Jordan Peters for the last year and like 4 months, trainedbyjp. So all training is nowadays pretty low volume, about 2 sets per exercise, all out to failure, Push Pull Legs. Warm up sets aren't counted.
I've made amazing progress in size and density switching to this approach. I had a 1.5 year offseason after 2018 Nats and this has been my training methodology since. Before that, followed 4-5 day splits with 12-16 sets per body part.
One of the biggest things I advise anyone and my clients to do is track your lifts, at least your compounds.. over time it really makes a difference. I've tracked every single exercise since being with JP, and the consistent progressive overload is fantastic and a great tool
Will have to come back on the bro science ones haha

Thank you man, that's always the goal and not easy to get there!!
No trouble areas, around 2017 my delts were lagging a little (especially mid). Brought them up with a 6 month offseason where I started incorporating cable lateral raises, which I've never done until that point (dumbbells only). Massive difference, all my side delt work is either cable or machine nowadays
Probably around 2017 my chest lagged a little too, brought it up also by just going back to heavy presses. Particularly incline DB, smith, and all Hammer Strength press variantsMen's Physique IFBB PRO

I can build muscle pretty fast but my body fat is stubborn
I gained over 20+ pounds since this Pandemic started (I'm type 1 diabetic and insulin does make me fat)
The gyms finally reopened beginnig of January.
Started seeing muscle gains but I still have this gut.

solid leg mass for MP
Also let these boys know how little cell tech(hrt) has to do with achieving this level of a physique and how much more important nutrition and progression in lifting is.
I try and tell them all the time but because im not yet an IFBB pro they don't take it seriously and think cell tech magically makes you grow muscle all over everywhere while eating cheat meals and only lifting at 80%**worthless college major crew**

Hey man, can't give exact specifics but;
Training is: Push Pull Rest Legs Rest
Low volume and max intensity, all working sets I do are to failure. Form has to stay perfect
Diet: haven't calculated current macros but at the moment I'm probably at about 350p 550-600c 80f but probably more, so cals are 4300-4500 training days. Bit less on rest days
Supps; a high quality whey isolate, I'm sponsored by Redcon1 so their isolate (called isotope) is awesome. Big fan of their pre workouts Total War & Big Noise. I use their EAAs (essential amino acids) at hefty amounts intra workout too
Other than that, quality multi vitamin and fish oils and creatine are what I'd recommend for everyone. I also take a big health stack of specific vitamins / extracts to support optimal health, eg lipids (cholesterol), liver, kidney, etcLast edited by DenimoBrah; 01-31-2021 at 05:29 PM.
