I'm not really rooting for either team over the other but you've got to be happy for Matt Stafford. The guy deserves this IMO.

Stafford was a good QB on the worst team in the league. Now, he's a good QB on arguably the best team in the league.
Is Stafford one of the few best QBs in the league? Absolutely not, but he doesn't have to be.Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

Happy for Stafford. Hope he can win one. Sucks that it makes the Lions pick worse, but they wouldn’t do chit with it anyway.
Funny that Aaron Donald gets the pressure that lead to the pick. Lions could have had him too, but they were so intent on wasting 1st round picks on TE to support Stafford that they didn’t take Donald. Meanwhile the Rams leading TE in this game was undrafted and had 4 career catches coming into the playoffs.
Easy there Brostradamus… You predicted that a prior playoff team upgrading at QB would continue to be a playoff team, and the chittiest franchise in sports who downgraded at QB would continue to be chit.Last edited by JMath; 01-30-2022 at 08:53 PM.
Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.
Performance and performance alone dictates the predator in any food chain.

The way these playoffs shook out, the seas literally parted for the Rams to win the super bowl. All they had to do was beat Brady in Tampa and the rest took care of itself (Mahomes and Allen neutralized each other, Mahomes choked against Bengals, Rodgers choked against Niners)
All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.
