Was absolutely criminal. There is or was a really good documentary about the entire thing on netflix recently might still be on there. I had a 20" Huffy Challenger bike that I got for Christmas that December preceding the disaster. Not long after that, in early spring, the frame broke in half by the front forks while bombing down a big hill and I got mangled up pretty bad. True story.Originally Posted by mtpockets

I was in 3rd grade. All the school 3rd grade and up, students and teachers gathered in the library around a TV to watch.
After it happened the TV was quickly turned off and we returned to class with no explanation.
I guess I was told what happened when I got home but can't remember.
