Probably, this isn't like a defense propping him up, this is him going through their offense. If he wins another Super Bowl he's def going to the HOF. But even if he maintains his current production for a few more years he's pretty much up there.

The mountain of NFL records just keeps going on such a short career. There's more out there but yeah.
MOST POSTSEASON TD PASSES IN FIRST FOUR NFL SEASONS
1. 17 Patrick Mahomes (7 games)
2. 16 Russell Wilson (10 games)
3. 15 Kurt Warner (7 games)
4. 13 Dan Marino (6 games)
5. 12 Ben Roethlisberger (7 games)
Is the first player in NFL history with three touchdown passes and no interceptions in three conference championship games.
Patrick Mahomes has 3 Pass TD and 0 Int in all 3 of his Conference Championship games.
Nobody else has more than 1 Conf Champ game with at least 3 Pass TD and 0 Int. Joe Montana is the only other player with 3 Pass TD in 3 Conf Champ games.
Most consecutive 300-plus passing yard games: 8 (tied)
Consecutive double digit deficits overcome including playoffs (6)
Fastest to 10,000 career passing yards: 34 games
Fastest to 100 career touchdowns: 40 games
Career quarterback rating (minimum 1,500 attempts): 110.7
Career passing yards per game (minimum 1,500 attempts): 307.6
Hasn't lost a game in the NFL by two scores. Last was back in college

Mahomes’ record in the last 26 games that he has started = 25 wins - 1 loss. Joining Tom Brady (2003-04) and Jim McMahon (1985-87) – to do that at this point. So Mahomes could best it by winning the Superbowl )
Patrick Mahomes Can Become Youngest QB Ever To Win Two Super Bowls, Beating Out Tom Brady For Record. If Tom wins, he has the record for youngest and oldest to ever win a Superbowl.US Marine Corps Vet 8 years ( 92/00 ) - Semper Fi - ★cVc★

This. Anyone who thinks he's already a HOFer is a homer. On pace, yes. But, if he were to never play a snap after this season he wouldn't make it into the HOF.
The Chiefs are rolling right now, but they'll run into cap space issues in the next few years and that'll be telling of who Mahomes really is.New England Patriot

And this is just wishful thinking
The NFL not only survived the pandemic but thrived meaning the cap will do nothing but continue to rise year over year
As massive as Mahomes contract is, it's almost certain there will never be a year in which he's the highest paid QB over it's entire length
The only reason KC would run into cap issues would be completely whiffing in the draft several years in a row forcing them to chase or overpay FAs and/or resign veterans to bad deals which of course is very possible, but has nothing to do with the way the roster is designed now
We'll find out more about Patrick once Andy leavesNascar American

Not if he literally retired just after
Travis Kelce is a HoF already
Tyreek Hill would then have 2 superbowls, and 3 First Team All-Pro at the age of 26, that could potentially become a HoF career
Hard to make an argument based off 3 seasons with 2 HoF targets, as crazy as he stats, success and play has been6'1, 205 lbs

I thought Mahomes contract was a percentage of the salary cap? Meaning if the cap goes up, so does his pay. And at some point, he's not going to have Kelce and Hill and Andy Reid isn't going to keep getting lucky with his skilled position players on offense. Unless the Chiefs are going to be the Patriots and dominated for the next 10 years, at some point Mahomes is going to have to run an offense without HOF talent. Not saying he still won't be successful, but the system he's in right now is incredible and primed for success.
