Now that I've seen this for a bit going with my with this prediction:

Jake is going to come out trying to bully him with physical aggression, this is his only time in the fight where he's got a chance of a clean hit. He looks nervous and nerves are going to mean he's prone to gasing.

If this goes out of the first two rounds Asken is taking him.

I've never seen Askren fight before. I knew he was a wrestler but I assumed he at least had somewhat decent striking since he competes in MMA. But seeing him train boxing is shocking, it's almost as if he's never thrown a punch before. I thought he would win fairly easily against a Youtube "boxer" but now I'm not so sure. I wasn't planning on watching this fight because I think it's joke to be honest, but now I'm curious to see what Askren will do to win.

Askren is going to get destroyed, and I’m one of his biggest mma and collegiate wrestling fans. His success in mma was almost exclusively due to his wrestling. A dominant competitor in one sport doesn’t mean your athleticism will translate to another. He’s old, has a broken chin, and has displayed atrocious boxing in mma. The people latched onto this “Olympic athlete” narrative are in for a very rude awakening.

Ben will be a complete disgrace to the sport of MMA if he can't beat this joker that has never faced a real boxer/fighter. He is a wrestler going into a boxing match, Jake Paul is not exactly a seasoned boxer.

Ben has got to have put in a good amount of striking training over the years to be as successful as he was in MMA especially preparing for guys like Robbie Lawler. Ben's real fight experience against other real, experienced fighters alone should be enough of any advantage to outsmart a guy that has no idea what it is like to be in a fight against an actual fighter. Paul may be stronger but they will also be hitting each other with pillows while Ben is used to getting hit with much less padding.

Ben is not going to lose a fight to a guy who makes videos for little kids on YouTube. The way I see this happening is that Jake comes out aggressively and wins the first couple of rounds. He begins gassing in the middle rounds, Ben takes over and tools him for the rest of the fight.

Jake's only shot is to KO Ben in the first couple of rounds. If Ben can take shots from Robbie Lawler in 4 oz gloves, chances are that he can make it through a few rounds against a celebrity YouTube kid without getting KO'd. Once he does that, it is his fight to lose.

I wouldn't put much confidence in the early public betting trend considering this is much more social media entertainment than it is a real sporting event. If it is a legitimate fight which is highly questionable considering previous Triller events, I would expect a lot of smart money to come in on Ben as the fight gets close as there is no way a sub amateur YouTube star beats a veteran, champion level MMA fighter.

If Jake was actually as serious about boxing as he claims wouldn't he be challenging actual boxers in legitimate boxing federations instead of very fishy, WWE style Triller events?

Paul, yes he's a total idiot but people are letting that fact rule their heads.

Paul is a lot bigger, like a lot, if Askren stripped off the puppy fat, Paul is a naturally 10kg heavier guy than askren, for two novices that's a LOT

The other thing is the fact that Askren simply would never have made a good boxer, he just doesn't have it. Whereas Jake Paul I think is a natural puncher and has more boxing talent than people want him to.

Askren best chance is to try and old man jake and clinch the hell out of him try to survive early and hope jake tires but honestly I think Jake is just gonna beat the **** out of him.

Jake Paul like it or not IS a real boxer he may not be a great boxer but he at least is one. , Bum Askren is not it's that simple to me.
