My older brother is about to graduate with masters in Biology this summer. If he wants to get a job he has to go back to school and get an MBA or something. He is already 30.
He made the mistake of perusing premed even AFTER he failed many premed classes instead of going into business , nursing or Law, ie. things that he CAN do.
But realistically, assuming that he does not get into the med. school he applied to, can he still get a job with his degree even with the rough economy? He also has horrible interview skills; and blackpill and based to the bone, so interviewers would be less willing to give him a chance as an obese white male incel. Will he have to go back and get a MBA or nursing degree or something? Thoughts?

Take some IT classes, gain basic skills in linux, and apply for entry level system admin jobs with research / high performance computing departments, especially in Universities. I've worked in one before, they love people with science degrees (chemistry, any engineering discipline, physics, biostatistics, etc...) and IT skills. They want the skills but more the scientific knowledge and thinking process.

Why wouldn't he just apply to a Caribbean med school? Isn't that where the dumb kids who didn't try in undergrad go? Just lol if he failed classes and expects to get accepted into a good school in America.
One of my cousins is one of the most highly paid and recognized Dermatologists in America, and she went to a Caribbean med school and makes bank. So there's no shame in it.

My girl got into a PhD after her masters. Her classmates started working in research, labratories, hospitals, and other places that center around biology (animals, fish, plants). Also in different government work (unrelated to biology).
Basically there is an entire world which miscers have no actual insight or awareness of but for some reason feel the need to pretend to know everything about?
A masters alone gives skills and open doors that others don't have access to, it doesn't have to be biology. It's entirely what he makes of this afterwards
None of the losers ITT will give any helpful answers besides spreading their beta negativity. Your brother needs to talk to people and higher ups within the milieu he is interested in, nobody one else

there are lots of different lab type jobs, every city, state, county ect all have their versions of water treatment and wastewater plants and need people to work in the lab. Also pharmaceutical industry has lab workers doing testing. You dont have to talk with the general public or do public speaking or anything like that. There is a lot of overlap with biology and chemistry degrees for people in those areas. I have a relative that has a biology degree worked in pharmaceutical and waste water areas and is pretty introverted and reserved. This is not really advanced stuff they are doing, its more routine testing just using machines but usually requires a degree.

He is afraid that he won't find residency if he goes abroad. I heard the match rate is like 50%, which is very low. Also he could easily fail out.
Heres the story:
First he got 2 bachelors degrees in psy and Biology -applied to med. school and got rejected.
Then He graduated, did a masters degree, got academically dismissed.
Worked for a lab tech. job and got fired again
Then he did a 2nd masters, got academically dismissed
Got a job and then got fired-applied to med. school and got rejected.
Did a third masters. Passed because of covid (online tests, and cheated like crazy)-
Now he is upgrading his masters from a M.A to a M.S. He has to do a year of research and a thesis.
He is about to graduate from his masters once this semester is over with an ungraded from MA to MS. He also applied to medical/DO school but it looks like he's getting rejected this time as well. Likely because he failed 2 masters and some undergrad. courses.
I always told him to go into business or law or something. Perhaps he could of been good at that and had a great job by now. Then again, he got fired from 2 jobs, so I don't really know. I am pretty sure that he has some srs. mental problems which is why he is doing all this btw.
My dad paid for all of his education. Not trying to brag, but my dad is a doctor (M.D) and is well to do.AGE-25
