Not the biggest NFL fan, but apparently he is as cluth as they come. Can he be compared to Godchael Jordan on their respective sports?

Has Tom Brady reached Michael Jordan's level of GOATness? (if not, why?)

I made this comparison yesterday in the other Brady chad thread. Hard to compare NBA vs NFL but for Brady to make his accomplishments today where all the NFL is faster and stronger than ever before due to drugs I think Brady edges out if he wins this Super Bowl
they each have six championships in their respective sportPosts are for fun, not to be taken seriously or as truth.

The best three seasons of his entire career are worse than Patrick Mahomes' first three seasons, so definitely not. He's massively overhyped by morons who don't understand the concept of team sports and think ring counting is how you determine who's the best. He was a decent but not great game manager his first five years in the league and at his peak was still really not close to the peak of QBs like Aaron Rodgers and Mahomes. He has great longevity but is otherwise hugely overrated.

It isn't possible for any NFL player to match Michael Jordan's mastery of the sport of basketball.
He was both the best offensive and the best defensive player in the league at one point. There were very few flaws in his game.
Tom Brady is a great quarterback, but there are tons of holes in his game, for starters he is slow and unathletic.
Walter Payton is the greatest football player of all time, he owned about 25 NFL records when he retired and had fewer flaws in his game than Brady. But if I wanted to win a superbowl, I would take Brady over Walter because the position has more influence over the game.I'm just a white guy from the future, I'm completely out of touch

Yeah, thats my logic as well.
That 98' final shot against Utah, Jordan stole the ball from Malone, Drove it up the court and then scored the final shot to win the championship. Thats both a key defensive play and a key offensive play by the same player in a matter of 20 seconds.
Brady doesnt have that luxury. He may be the GOAT QB but i cant see how he can be considered a better GOAT than Jordan, when Jordan's mastery of the sport as a whole is undisputed, when Brady is more like an specialist if you could call it that."The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. Tom Brady has won games throwing 3 INTs, he's won a Super Bowl where he can only muster 13 points.. there are so many different variables when it comes to football compared to Basketball it really isn't funny. He affects 1 side of the field, and even in that he is dependent on lineman to block, RBs to run, and WRs to catch IN ADDITION to coaches to call the right plays and put people in the right position.... and all this is solely on 1 side of the field and doesn't get into the other 2 phases which are just as important
Brady isn't the best player to ever play the game tho. He's on a short list, but a case can be made for Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, Lawrence Taylor, Barry Sanders, etc.

Basketball is too different.
Winning or losing an NFL game has much more to do with the entire team, than one QB compared to an NBA game where a player like MJ can dominate on both sides of the ball.
Not comparable, but Brady definitely has the best QB career of all time.Real Madrid, Miami Heat, New York Jets.

he was not clutch yesterday, he played a good first half and played like chit in the second half, gave too many chances to the packers but the bucs D came up big.
Kevin king was blowing coverages all day long.
But yeah, he is probably up there with MJ.vegan bodybuilder crew

Brady is a goat QB but like everyone else has said, football is much more dependent on team so Jordan def still gets the nod everyday. You honestly can’t even compare the two, it’s the ultimate apples to oranges argument.

Also agree that in Basketball a single player has way more influence in the result than in NFL.
Brady was lucky he landed with the right coach in the right organization, there are some other more talented QBs that have either had chitty teams and/or chitty coaches, he also had the luck of being in one of the weakest division in the last 15 years, giving him a lot of home games in the playoffs.
Lets just take an example, Matt Stafford, IMO as talented and with a similar style than Brady, however, he landed in the worst sports franchise to ever exist, and also playing on a division that had Brett Favre and then Rodgers and Brett Favre at the same time (when he went to the vikes) so his best results are just getting into the playoffs.vegan bodybuilder crew
