Hey all,
I live in a very small mediterranean country and, believe it or not, we don’t have that many choice in certain areas of the food industry. For example, I know that in bigger nations, you have like 80/20 beef, 90/10, 96/4,etc. Now when it comes to minced chicken breast, that’s kind of easy as I calculate macros/kcals for ‘normal’ chicken breast. But as for beef, we only have one local company that does it (very popular and always same packaging) or else you buy beef minced by the local butcher. How would you go about determining kcals/macros on this ‘popular’ pack of minced beef? It nowhere says how much fat is in it, so I don’t know what to put in my app. Gracias!

Hello fellow Malteser! I'll checko ut dewfresh when I'm at the supermarket to compare it with a similar food item which has nutritional info. You will have to estimate though. I use "beef, grass fed, ground, raw" on MyFitnessPal since I also don't have nutritional info on the minced beef I buy from the butcher's. 192 calories/ 100g and 19g protein (uncooked).
