I've tried all of this a bunch of times. It's just the same awkward convos over and over and I haven't met anyone my age that is a conservative since 2016. I used to eat with my coworkers every week back in 2015 and 2016 but things just aren't the same anymore

Bro i have tried this a bunch of times. The issue is that i am getting older and i don't meet anyone my age that i relate to whatsoever. It's been like this since 2015. My coworkers are all way older than me and the new ones they hire are all diverse hires which i don't relate to at all. It's just insane what is happening right now i am isolated and alone but i keep pushing through anyways.

Even in my most FA days 10 years ago i didn't have this problem. I had a lot of acquaintances.

Generally I try not to interact with work people unless working. You never know when some dude will complain to HR because you used the wrong pronouns. A couple of those types of complaints and you'll be out of a job.

My team actually got numerous complaints from women that we're confrontational, in reality we just get things done because we're a team of all dudes so we don't BS around things and don't dance around blaming someone for doing something wrong/dumb. It's 100% not worth socializing with coworkers, maintain the most neutral and non-confrontational conversations you can and then go home when the day is over.
