Problems doing Reverse Curl after Blood Donation

Hey guys, I gave blood last Friday and it’s Monday now. I didn’t do any exercise over the weekend I just gave myself plenty of rest time. I did notice though sometimes when I did the reverse curl motion like to scratch my head or something there was a popping on the top of my forearm. Today I went to do a pull-up at the gym and that joker popped and I bout let go of the pull-up bar. I tried for a second rep as I thought maybe the first one was just a fluke and the second time I couldn’t even get half way up. It’s like this intense popping on top of my forearm. It’s not even that painful I can’t explain it. It’s just when it happens I basically have to let go of whatever I’m grabbing or either shift all the weight to my right side.

Does anyone know what is happening to me?

P.S. It doesn’t happen on pushing exercises or when I’m holding something. I did overhead press and rack pulls and felt nothing. It just happens when I bend my elbow in a pulling motion.

Is there any swelling/bruising at the site? Perhaps you have local inflammation that is shifting things around and resulting in the popping sensation.

I have a pretty large bruise on the bottom side of my forearm like an inch and a half away from the insertion site.

Well I haven’t actually done any reverse curls lately. Reverse curl is just the motion that causes it to pop.

Could be muscle gliding over the joint. If it isn’t hurting, it is probably normal. I pop and creak all over the place but that is just wear and tear.

Sounds like a hematoma. Maybe hold off on the curls a bit longer next time you give blood.
I can tell time. Time cannot tell me.

Formerly LactoseTolerant. I'm not very imaginative.
