Strength performance coming out of a bulk

Is it normal to experience some reduction in strength on various exercises after transitioning from a calorie surplus to maintenance? I've had this happen before, but was wondering if it's the norm.

Shouldn't have much loss of strength, could just be that your energy feels lower because you reduced calories. How far did you cut calories?

Not by more than 100-200 calories.

sounds like its more in your head than anything. Unless you are already eating a very low amount of calories, 100-200 reduction shouldn't affect your training.
