21.49% HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!!!!!!!
The bottom dropped out for me in 2017, so my credit is trashed. I'm surprised they approved me at all, but I'll go without before I pay that much.
I've been disputing all the baddies on my credit reports every few months and getting a few deleted, so the score is getting much better, but still sucks.
I want to retire my truck soon at 100K and get another daily, but I can do that at around 120K if I need to.

Honestly, you can take it, pay on it for about a six months to a year (pay on time at least) and refinance. You might even have to go two years.
Did that with my truck. Still had a foreclosure and a credit card charge off on my record and some other crap. Thought I was getting drilled at 10.49%. Almost didn't go for it because of the percentage but the dealer dropped the price not to lose the sale. All that fell off, got my percentage down into the 4& range now. Just beware that some refinance companies try to charge you a few thousand to refinance even though they have a really low percentage rate.

I make 6 figures and have an 830 credit score and drive a 2012 F150 with 135k miles. There's no reason you need to retire your truck at 100k.
10 years ago I was in a similar situation as you wtih trashed credit. If you make good decisions around career and finance going forward you can turn it around easy.Principal Engineer

Make over 100k a year and don't have a car payment crew. You don't really realize how much a car actually cost ie maintenance, registration, tires, unexpected cost from engine problems, insurance, gas, etc... What you should be doing is buy a used economical vehicle with cash under 10k. But if you want to continue being broke that's up to you.

op look at this from the outside in for a sec
"so i almost went bankrupt and defaulted on all my prior loans which destroyed my credit score, I'm now finally turning things around and want to finance a car and double the cost of my car insurance for no reason other than I want to own 2 cars."
i bought a car last week and id avoid carvana too srs, they're based out of atl so being around there gives you huge benefits. There were a couple I was looking at on there and I went and dug deep into reading and it sounds like the company just isn't quite there yet, really cool concept and the prices are definitely fair but if you run into any issues you're fcked. They haven't scaled enough to have a true support team so their supposed warranty as well as getting help with anything is a nightmare. And of course any lender that says they give loans to people with chit credit are going to have absurd rates.
but dead srs man you just started digging out of the hole why the fck would you jump back in with a new chunk of debt?Official LTC representative
