Ok i am 5.11 tall, 37 years old, started at 310 lbs and am down to 234.5lbs ..I have a way to go and i need to get down to 190lbs.
Loose skin hasn't been TOO problematic ...(yet) but I do have this horrible jiggly fat at the tops of my inner legs, and some clear loose skin accumulation that's unsightly to say the least, and its only going to get worse as the weight loss continues.
Its a part that bothers me a lot, no one else sees it apart from my girlfriend but thats bad enough!
So I have been on the allpro routine for a good three months, and my own mishmash workout before that. I have seen good strength gains since i started weight loss but they are harder to come by now. I have come to the conclusion I need to work on my abductors and build legs like tree trunks to fill out the void being left from fatloss.
I still have 45 lbs fatloss needed, I have been weightlifting for about 6 months last year since april - and constantly for the last 4 months.
I like the allpro routine and i have had progress on it - I do get 3 days of squats in on it... but I want to focus on my legs more and if i had dedicated leg days could target more specific areas along with squatting... Is something like push/pull/legs rest push/pull/legs rest just far to advanced for me at the moment?
Just wondering what I can do now, or should i just accept the loose skin, carry on with the weight loss and then work on building up legs once at target weight..
Thanks for reading!

I have exact same issue. The inner thighs is where I have the most loose skin, but I don't really care. I much rather have some loose skin than be 300 lbs again. I don't know if there is anything else that can be done except try to build some muscle to fill the excess skin as much possible (or surgery).

If the loose skin bothers you mate, surgery is the only way to get rid. I don't know about your thighs but when I have seen pics of your upper body, it looks like you've been lucky as your skin still looks tight despite the amount of weight loss. The fact you have done this weight loss sensibly, consistently and incorporated weight lifting looks like your loose skin has been minimal

Cheers lads, I read doctors wont do surgery for 2 years after fat loss as it can take that long for full retraction - I only started in march 2020 so have 15 months of potential improvements so will just see how things pan out. Surgery not an option could never afford it. Will work on legs more as more muscle cant hurt.
I think I have been fairly lucky on upper body, lower belly is getting a bit loose now but could have been worse for sure.Last edited by RandyMcFlab; 01-24-2021 at 04:08 AM.
