Have filled up my tank 2 times in the past 3 weeks at Costco here in SoCal. Initially started at 2.79 now up to 3.19 and I have zero doubt that it will continue to rise.

i usually go to costco or walmart gas. i'd have to dig for a receipt but i believe it was 2.14 on jan 20th. filled up yesterday at 2.79. gas buddy says its at 2.99 now

The prices started going up a few days after the election when it looked clear that Biden would be the victor of the stolen election.

SPECULATION at that time sent prices upwards and they've been going up ever since the week after the election, and yes they did start goin up because Biden won.

NYPat and others on both sides arguing back and forth over what has or hasn't happened since the inauguration is far less relevant than what happened at election time and since.

Oil prices are up nearly 70 percent since the election which is a record in the modern era.

OPEC had agreed to cuts to increase oil prices which have been recessed for five long years. The demand, as the vaccine works, will only increase as flights and cruise ships go back to work.

US exports are 10% oil and gas. If oil goes up, you’re all going to be richer and that fake economy trump was propping up with corporate tax cuts will finally have some real life.

The flip side is, the cheaper oil stays, the longer ICE cars will stay relevant. If gas spikes, EVs suddenly look affordable.
