The first thing we need to do in teaching MISCERS that they've been duped, is to change leadership, just like NAZI officers/leadership was changed after WWII.



Miscers cannot hear new voices until the old leadership is drowned out.

We need to hire new mods with an education that would qualify them for FBI, rather than police.

Speaking from a longer history than I'd like to admit, this forum has always leaned right and moderation is tricky for a number of reasons. I'm actually very thankful for this forum because it taught me to be able to argue with bigots etc, it even helped me unlearn some bigoted ideas of my own after losing a few debates with people.

That being said, I think homophobic and racial slurs should be warning/ban, this includes specifically the creative ways people find to use alternate spellings etc. Doesn't add anything to the discussion and is just a coward-ass bullying move. If you want to be offensive or whatever you can, but be offensive with substance. I mean it's a religion and politics section, not being able to say stuff like that seems pretty reasonable.

I think he's talking about fascists and not necessarily self-identifying nazis. One goal central to new American fascist ethos is to remove the relatively unpalatable aspects like swastikas and overt racism so as to blend in as a looser, more relatable fraternity of sorts. There are however a lot of normal right leaning people who love their country and don't wanna see it harmed and speak out about it.

There are also a lot of white people here who don't like what they see as all kinds of propaganda attacks on the white race and want to support their fellow white people against that increasing BS. But that's not something exclusive to this forum or to the white race - Whites, blacks, Hispanics, Jews, Asians, Muslims, Christians, etc etc every race and ethnicity and religion and class wants to support and protect their own from harm as much as they can. Who here is literally a fascist? Trumpers? Let's have a look at that...

A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.

I don't particularly care for Trump at all, but let's look at the facts. Dictators don't concede elections. Trump's policies enforced de-regulation, not government regulation. As for violent suppression of opposition, this literally never happened unless you want to point to people disrupting rallies and multiple political events in DC, who were removed by event security.

Words mean something. There are very few fascists in the US today. Shifting the window and using pure hyperbole to paint everyone on the other side as a white supremecist or something is going to lead us down a dark path that involves LOTS of people being put in the ground, not just "fascists."
