I have been seeing a lot of people take a handful of sweet tarts after lifting. I know its for the dextrose but is that the most efficient way to get it? Isn't eating sweet tarts post workout counter productive ?

Yeah man I live by them, use them to break my fast and It’s like 60% of my carb source and on my high carb days
I stay lean year round
il legit eat 250g+ of sweetarts alone (the remaining 250g comes from white rice)
Also gummie bears are not good for this, gummie bears have actual sugar and some will store as liver glycogen(not what you want)
Sweetarts store as purely muscle glycogen
Gummie bears = sugar and dextrose (bad)
Sweetarts = only dextrose and no sugar (good)
