Trump was a symptom for a problem that will continually grow, and it's something Washington is unable to cure.
I think this is true. If you had asked me during Obama's presidency I would have agreed that changes in demographics meant that the Reps were toast. That was before Trump won the presidency and the far left went all in w/divisive identity politics.

Maybe the Dems take the presidency again next round, but maybe not.

    - younger voters do trend more to their side
    - Boomers dying out
    - but a lot of 30+ voters have had time to wise up

Also Harris is not a strong candidate for President. I've seen a good number of commentators from both sides that have said that a Biden presidency is much to be preferred over a Harris presidency.

And the Reps could change their rhetoric to appeal to a broader voting base.

There is also some potential that identity politics may work against the Dems as not all minority groups are on board with self-identifying as victims, or being defined as less than/victims by the media.

It's the other side's time to feel disenfranchised. Washington got what they wanted by praying on the emotionally vulnerable on both sides (Liberals & QTards). Washington doesn't like losing control of the ignorant/useful idiots, it lets them stay in power.

They managed to mentally subdue a large part of the population with stupid QLarp, and emotionally compromised another large part by convincing them Trump was the second coming of Hitler.

Republicans have lost the popular vote in Presidential elections 7 out of the last 8. That's not a back and forth shift.

Lol at anyone who think Rs have a chance after 4 years of Biden immigration policies. Not to mention mass mail in voting is here to stay.

Polling consistently shows most minorities consider racial injustice and white privilege as serious problems, so yeah all minority groups but Cubans are on board. How many elections worth of evidence do we need?

Yeah, this certainly feels different. As I posted above I expect we are seeing the end of Republican VS. Democrat and the beginning of moderate VS. progressive.

Definitely. Conservatism and nationalism are dead from a political perspective at the national level. The Republican Party has mostly done it to themselves by being garbage for decades. Last amnesty? Signed by Regan. Last terrible immigration bill? 1990 Immigration Act by Bush.

I predicted a while ago that someone like Andrew Yang would be the future R candidate. Someone not conservative on any issue lol.

The Democrats are also in trouble though. The little war between the establishment Democrats and progressives is finally becoming public knowledge. As older Democrats die off and are replaced by young progressives the far left will not be tolerating guys like Biden any longer. To survive the Republicans and Democrats will need to join forced. It would be nice if the Republicans could regroup and right the ship but I am afraid that Trump did far too much damage.

Because Obama beating Romney was believable. Romney was a cuck and a very unlikable guy, much more unlikable now. Obama was a charismatic leader people could get behind, whether you like him or not.

Trump beating Hillary was believable because Hillary is not likable, Trump had a strong following.

Biden beating Trump is not believable and there was objective proof that a lot of fraud was committed through fake made up votes. In other words, the people did not decide the election, govern entities did.

The election was different because it proved how easily an election can actually be rigged and everyone saw it in plain sight.

It doesn't matter if 4 years from now a popular GOP candidate comes out and goes against a Turd Sandwich from the left.

The left will win because of made up votes and illegals voting Democrat now that they have been granted voting rights.

This election was different not because a side lost, this election was different because democracy, freedom, the voice of voters, and the candidate with more legitimate votes lost.

As older Democrats die off and are replaced by young progressives the far left will not be tolerating guys like Biden any longer. To survive the Republicans and Democrats will need to join forced. It would be nice if the Republicans could regroup and right the ship but I am afraid that Trump did far too much damage.
The Republican Party was dying long before Trump. I don't see how Rs can unite with "moderate" Dems. I personally hate these moderate Dems. They're just as likely to bitch about racism and white privilege as radical Dems with the added bonus of sucking off Wall Street.

Imagine being so stupid as to believe media polls and narratives.

Trump's huge crowds and record-breaking 74 million votes show he is popular. Biden probably got no more than 60 million authentic votes.
