There are a lot of people who lost faith in the system over the last few months, the people at the top need to be aware that fact doesn't go away just because there's an over-glamourized inauguration and Biden is now President.

I think this is true. If you had asked me during Obama's presidency I would have agreed that changes in demographics meant that the Reps were toast. That was before Trump won the presidency and the far left went all in w/divisive identity politics.

Maybe the Dems take the presidency again next round, but maybe not.

- Boomers dying out
- but a lot of 30+ voters have had time to wise up

Also Harris is not a strong candidate for President. I've seen a good number of commentators from both sides that have said that a Biden presidency is much to be preferred over a Harris presidency.

And the Reps could change their rhetoric to appeal to a broader voting base.

There is also some potential that identity politics may work against the Dems as not all minority groups are on board with self-identifying as victims, or being defined as less than/victims by the media.

Because Obama beating Romney was believable. Romney was a cuck and a very unlikable guy, much more unlikable now. Obama was a charismatic leader people could get behind, whether you like him or not.

Trump beating Hillary was believable because Hillary is not likable, Trump had a strong following.

Biden beating Trump is not believable and there was objective proof that a lot of fraud was committed through fake made up votes. In other words, the people did not decide the election, govern entities did.

The election was different because it proved how easily an election can actually be rigged and everyone saw it in plain sight.

It doesn't matter if 4 years from now a popular GOP candidate comes out and goes against a Turd Sandwich from the left.

The Republican Party was dying long before Trump. I don't see how Rs can unite with "moderate" Dems. I personally hate these moderate Dems. They're just as likely to bitch about racism and white privilege as radical Dems with the added bonus of sucking off Wall Street.
