Hello,
I've been doing a 5 day push/pull/legs/upper/legs split for the last couple months and noticed some major strength and size improvements (granted I wouldn't yet describe myself as an intermediate lifter). I typically do pull ups (wide grip, shoulder-width grip and neutral grip chins), one-arm dumbbell rows and shrugs as my major pull lifts. I'm wondering if my lower and/or mid lats are lagging, or if I'm just nitpicking? The "hourglass" between my waist and upper lats is pretty demoralizing. Is this something a cut in a few months will fix, or are there any particular exercises I should be mixing in?
Thanks in advance.

No offense TS, but 99% of the time when someone posts a "this muscle group is lagging, what can I do" is a guy who doesn't lag anything, but just doesn't have enough muscle mass yet. Extremely rarely is a muscular guy who really is lagging a body part.
Do you believe your higher lats are big enough?

And heavy deadlifts bro!
Say no to machines and cables!"Reminds me of the good ol' days back in 03-04 when ripptoes/5 by 5/hit/doggcrap reigned supreme and you did not need direct arm work for big biceps. Rows and chins were it. "Ever see a guy rowing 300+lbs with chicken arms?". Ah yes those were the days. God bless amusclehead and his twisted one dimensional views along with the rest of the former flock."
